Through financial contributions, Southern Energy Credit Union Foundation partners with qualifying organization to empower community change, with a focus on financial education, economic development, and community enrichment projects across Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi
We invite 501(c)(3) nonprofits whose work aligns with the missions and values of our Foundation and Credit Union to apply to be a recipient of our yearly foundation giving initiative.
Organizations may submit applications once a year, and your application will be good for one year.
All applications will be subject to approval from the Southern Energy Credit Union Foundation Board of Directors. The duration of the review process can vary and is determined by the Board’s schedule. The Foundation partners with a limited number of organizations to donate funds raised from Foundation events throughout the year. At this time, donations are made to the nonprofits selected by the Foundation Board once a year, usually in December. Please take this into account if your donation request has a deadline or time restrictions.
